ABSTRACT

This research work is an online product catalog. The researchers studied the cataloguing system of PZ Cussons Nigeria Limited Plc with a view of statistically finding out the flaws and limitations in the use of manual product cataloguing. In this work, an online software application was developed to facilitate the cataloguing system of the company. The conventional structured system Analysis and Design Methodology was employed in this work. The software was developed using PHP (Hypertex Preprocessor) Language and MySQL (My Structured Query Language), a relational database management system in designing the database. At the end of the Analysis of the present system, a new system was developed to computerize the old system. This new system is flexible and can be modified to suit any kind of product catalogue.
